Bob Taking On The Lion Cub

We were able to go to the Lion Park on Thursday. It was very nice there. Bob (at his own risk) was able to go into the cage with this 5 month old lion cub. He wasn't exactly friendly. Bob did get to pet him, but didn't stay in very long. The guy before Bob got bit by the lion.

Well, today is Saturday. Our second week is now over (already!). Time has just been flying! The days go so quickly because they are so full. We are up around 6AM and are just finishing around 10PM each day. It has been so good though. We would not trade our time here for anything. God has been so good and has blessed us so much. Thank you all for your prayers and support. We love you!

Thanks for the comments too. It is so good to hear from you in return.

Just a quick rundown of what our plans are for today --these may change though-at any time everything is subject to change here :). We are sorting through and organizing everything in the office and putting the things on the shelves. Susanne and I cleaned the floors and are doing laundry - all practical things. Around 2PM Bob and Luann will be teaching TWB in a village called Peddie (about 1 hour away). Bob will be doing his lesson on sin again. Then, this evening we are invited to supper at the Pastor's home from the Baptist church that they attend here in town. We have been invited out to other homes several times now. The people here are just lovely.

Some South African (English) vocabulary for you:
Bisquits = cookies
Boot = trunk of the car
Bonnet = hood of the car
Buckie = a truck
Pudding = any dessert

More later ......
